The Moose Jaw Times-Herald is looking for an entry level Reporter to join its busy daily newsroom.  This is a full-time, permanent position.

We are seeking a journalist who can write three to four stories every day and take quality photos to accompany their stories.

We are looking for someone with fresh ideas and a desire to establish himself or herself in the newspaper business.

Moose Jaw is located in south central Saskatchewan, with a population of about 35,000. Agriculture and tourism are the main industries but we also have a military air base, some manufacturing and a post-secondary institution. The sports and cultural scenes are quite active in Moose Jaw as well.

We are looking for someone with a degree or diploma in journalism or a related field or prior experience.

The successful candidate:
- Should be enthusiastic, inquisitive, personable and able to concentrate in a busy work environment.
- Hold a valid drivers licence and insurance along with a reliable vehicle are required.
- Have a good working knowledge of the Internet and website back-ends is an asset.
