Copying a piece of correctly sized text ensures that text size remains consistent between model and paper space.

Carol McKeough sent us a method to get text objects to and from paper space and model space.

"I use the Changespace (chspace) command to ensure my text size remains consistent between model space and paper space. Simply copy a piece of correctly sized text and execute the command to move it into model space. You can then verify the size in model space using Properties and create new text accordingly.

"I also use Changespace to bring blocks from model space to paper space, so that they are correctly sized for use in my drawing legend."

Notes from Cadalyst Tip Patrol: The Chspace command is a fantastic tool! With it you can move objects from or to any paper space tab and at the same scale! You have to be in a paper space tab to use the command, but it works both ways. That means that if you have an object in model space that you want to bring into a paper space tab and at the same scale just use the Chspace command. Use it the same way if you want to move your paper space object to model space.
