Roa - Crocodile - Living Walls Conference - 2011 - Atlanta, GA
Internationally known for his animal paintings outsized, Roa has established itself in the current urban art scene with a unique style. Originally from Belgium, it uses roller or spray to materialize its giant animals in black and white. Globetrotter at heart, Roa has covered the walls in the 4 corners of the world (Europe, Africa, North America, South America, Australia) and has adapted its representations based on territory, people and their traditions, and news. Alive, stuffed, dead or still undergoing decomposition, he presents his works outside or inside, including through exhibitions where he played cabinets of curiosities in his way. Bearer of symbolic and synonymous with balance, it calls into question the place of humans on the planet and his destructive behavior - http://www.flickr.com/photos/roagraffiti/
