Mountain Hotel Resort Repurposed for Wounded Veterans
We often talk about investing with purpose, or repurposing with purpose, but how many of you know any Real Estate Developers who actually do it? Paying lip service is not the same as doing. This project takes these concepts to an entirely new level!
American Canadian Energy Research Foundation has decided to purchase TWO of our exclusive Resort Properties and turn them into Research Centers for wounded veterans and their families. AND they intend to build a Hotel on the Properties, engineer a ski area, and build a college campus!! Now that is what we call having a PURPOSE!!
ACE Research has a goal to help them stay focused and on target, to: "Set the Standard of Excellence for Veterans which will fundamentally change the world's treatment of Veterans everywhere for decades. This project will provide a level of superior service and care that the world has never seen" says Larry Bennett of ACE Research.
The project involves two mammoth resort properties, both of which include fine dining, massive acreage (about 6,000 acres) construction of housing, hotels, care facilities, training and education, and of course research facilities. The idea is to provide a unique and enriching lifestyle of service and fun, and to exceed the level of service given at most 5 star properties.
The roll out is in two phases. Phase I is the $100Million acquisition, development of two resort properties in Colorado, which will be re opened for business in late Summer and Fall of 2016. Phase II is also approved for $200Million involving build out of the Research Center, Condos and Housing for Veterans and their Families, and opening the Resorts for Travel and the Public as well. Bennett will be turning the entire project into a 501(c)3 but will run the business as a for profit venture for the first three years. ACE's goal is to create a permanent foundation which survives on it's own endowment and proceeds in perpetuity.
