Charles Davis and Dan Hellie new Titans preseason broadcasters

The Titans preseason broadcast locally on WKRN Channel 2 has been the subject of much criticism over the last few years. Cory Curtis has been the main play by play guy for the last few years. He has been joined in the booth by various former Titans that included guys like Eddie George, Keith Bulluck, Kerry Collins and Kevin Carter. Some of those guys have been pretty good. Some of them were pretty terrible.

Well the preseason broadcast is getting a makeover according to The Tennessean. Charles Davis and Dan Hellie will be your new "Titans on 2" broadcasters. There is no doubt that will be an upgrade over what we have seen in the last few years.

Here is the full Titans preseason schedule:

Week 1: 8/13 vs. San Diego 7 PM (central)
Week 2: 8/20 vs. Carolina 2 PM
Week 3: 8/27 @ Oakland 7 PM*
Week 4: 9/1 @ Miami 7 PM

*The week 3 game against the Raiders will be nationally broadcast on CBS.
