Bears bringing back safety Chris Prosinski, lineman C.J. Wilson

The Bears re-signed safety Chris Prosinski, a staple on special teams the past two seasons, to a one-year contract on Monday.

Prosinski, a sixth-year veteran, has played on all four special teams along with fellow stalwart Sherrick McManis. Last year, Prosinski finished third on the team with seven tackles on special teams.

A fourth-round pick of the Jaguars in 2011, Prosinski also started six games at safety in the last two seasons. Last year, he had 15 tackles, one pass breakup and one tackle for a loss on defense.

The Bears also agreed to terms with defensive lineman C.J. Wilson, his agency announced on Twitter.

A sixth-year veteran, Wilson appeared in six games last season, making 13 tackles and one sack. He also started the Bears’ season finale against the Vikings.
