Aston Villa's man of the moment, Jonathan Kodjia isn't reserving all of his form for the Claret and Blue this season, scoring a fine goal for his country this evening.
He featured for the Ivory Coast tonight in their international friendly against Russia, and scored the opening goal as 'Les Éléphants' ran out 2-0 winners.

It's the type of goal that we've come to expect from Kodjia this season. Pace, the power to hold off his man, and a tidy finish. It brings his Ivory Coast tally up to five goals, in what was his 10th international appearance. That's a percentage that Tim Sherwood would be proud of.
All told, Kodjia played for 89 minutes, before being replaced by Angers' Nicolas Pepe late on.
Notably, the second goal was scored by Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, who finished off a magnificent run with a powerful finish, in a game in which the Ivorians were superior to Russia in every aspect of play.

Aston Villa return from the international break against Norwich City, and hopefully Kodjia can keep up his sublime form.
