FAIL: Top Democrat Schiff Backs Away from Russia-Trump Collusion (VIDEO)

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) can’t say if “anything was masked or unmasked properly”.

In an interview, Sunday morning with CNN’s Jake Tapper on State of the Union, the ranking House Intelligence Committee member, Adam Schiff fell detrimentally short in backing leftist claims and assertions over the surveillance of President Trump by the previous administration.

At this point, he cannot “say whether anything was masked or unmasked properly,” after visiting the White House to see the same documents that Devin Nunes (R-CA) saw last month.

The lack of detail and energy (which has accompanied all previous Schiff statements) suggests that the documents Nunes saw substantiate the claim that the Obama administration surveilled members of the Trump transition team and also corroborates the improper unmasking narrative.

At no point did Schiff say that Nunes was wrong.

A Breitbart post from Sunday elaborates:

Schiff backed off claims he made last month on MSNBC that there was “more than circumstantial” evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. When Tapper asked him point-blank whether there was “collusion,” Schiff said: “I don’t think we can say anything definitively at this point.”

The way that Schiff has backed off and has ditched his claims of collusion further validate Trump’s assertions of improper surveillance of both he and his private associates.
