Find great ways to keep all the readers in your home engaged with books for the summer.
Kids are out of school which means the summer break has
begun. It’s fine for kids to take a short break but for those who are still
willing to pick up a book, summer reading programs are a plenty. You might be wondering
where you should begin to look for fun programs that will keep your kids
engaged for the summer. It’s always a good idea to start with your local
library. A lot of libraries have summer reading suggestions and they will even
provide your child with a log to keep record. Our local library here in Johnson
County is offering up ideas, free books and a log.
Below is a list of links for sites that have fun and
interesting reading ideas and programs. I hope you’ll take a moment to
investigate to ensure your kids stay engaged and spend some time reading this
summer. There are so many more fun reading ideas, activities and engagement for
your readers I couldn’t even begin to list them all.
Remember your Local Library should always be your first
choice.
