The Gristedes CEO gave $400 to Republican mayoral candidate and fellow Greco-American Nicole Malliotakis, who had endorsed him for mayor in 2013.
But then Catsimatidis attended a fund-raiser for her independent rival Bo Dietl last week at the Upper East Side penthouse of hedge funder Steven A. Cohen.
“I have not endorsed anybody,” Catsimatidis told me. “I know Bo for 30 years. He is a true New York character.”
