Hospitality guru Richie Akiva surprised an A-list crowd at Cannes’ amfAR gala with an amazing auction item — a 60-person trip to his new 1OAK island at Finolhu, Maldives.
Following a bidding war, the lot sold for $800,000 to Liangping Wang, one of the wealthiest men in China.
Akiva and partners Ronnie Madra and Darren Dzienciol then headed to the Monaco Grand Prix for a 1OAK yacht party.
Guests included Helly Nahmad, Adriana Lima, Adrien Brody and Sofia Richie.
