Farmers Only: TJ Friedl Continues To Rake

He wasn’t even drafted!

Louisville Bats 7, Columbus Clippers 9

Brandon “Blarney Stone” Finnegan probably would like this start back, but he’s just rehabbing and we shouldn’t care much. Finnegan pitched 5 innings and gave up 4 earned runs. He gave up 4 hits, 2 homers, 2 walks, and struck out 5. The important thing is he threw 71 pitches. Alejandro “Cha-ching” Chacin struck out 2 in a scoreless inning of relief. Sebastian “Lizard People” Elizalde was 2 for 5 with a RBI, Cedric “The Entertainer” Hunter was 2 for 4 with a double and 2 runs scored, and Uncle Phil Ervin was 2 for 4 with a double and a run scored.

TheBoDiggity pitches tonight at 7:05 PM ET.

The Wahoos were still off on break, and they have Luis Castillo listed as their starting pitcher. We know now that’s not happening. So, we’ll assume that TheBadDank will pitch at 6:15 PM CT.

Daytona Tortugas 2, St. Lucie Mets 4

So, the Tortugas played their last game with their big studs in the lineup. Well, some of them. Shed Long played. Wendolyn “Lend a Friend” Bautista pitched 5.2 innings and gave up an earned run on 4 hits, 1 walk, and a 6 strikeouts. Austin “Big Brother” Orewiler pitched 2.1 scoreless with 2 strikeouts. TJ “You Got A” Friedl “In Me” was 3 for 5 with a RBI and a run scored, and sure looks to acclimating himself to Daytona just fine. Reydel “Rotel” Medina was 2 for 4 with a double and a triple, Garrett “Tupperware Sale” Boulware was 2 for 4 with a double, and Mitch Piatnik “At The Disco” was 2 for 4 with a double.

Wyatt Strahan will be on the mound at 7:00 PM ET.

Dayton was finishing up their break as well and will have TheBodDad on the mound at 7:00 PM ET.

Billings Mustangs 8, Missoula Osprey 2

Tyler “Walter” Mondile started and was effective. He pitched 5 innings and didn’t give up a run on 2 hits, 1 walk, and a strikeout. “John” Connor Bennett pitched 2 scoreless innings of relief with 3 strikeouts. Satchel “Paige” McElroy was 2 for 4 with a double, RBI, and 2 runs scored, Leandro “Calrissian” Santana was 2 for 3 with a walk, solo dinger, and 2 runs scored, and Carlos “Down The” Rivero was 2 for 4 with a run scored and a RBI. Andy “Sluglord” Sugilio hit a solo dinger, and our resident Australian, Jake “The Trunchbull” Turnbull, was 1 for 2 with a triple, RBI, and a walk.

Matt Blandino will be on the mound at 7:05 PM MT.
