The New York Mets are one team with an outfield situation even more complicated than the Rockies, as they are looking to add a center fielder and trade away at least one corner outfielder.

FOX Sports’ Ken Rosenthal reports that he Rockies could be a trade partner for the Mets as they have Charlie Blackmon who seems to be available, though the Rockies’ asking price remains high.

ESPN’s Buster Olney discusses the state of the offseason and the sheer number of free agents available at a point that teams are typically starting to look forward to Spring Training.

Olney says that could be bad news for those left on the market, as few big deals get done after Christmas. That could, however, be good news for the Rockies who are still looking for a first baseman in a market that seems to have more supply than demand.
