Bad read by Letang, but we SHOULD be outmanning them, Geno needs to get his head out his anus and pick up the guy skating through the zone. This team doesn't work hard on the power play, they float around when they don't have the puck.

There's Hagelin doing what he does to potential goals.

$4M a year should result in a goal there.

They've been much more consistent and last month I'd have given up on this game. Tonight I still think they can get it back.

Guentzel just isn't effective at 3C and we're losing production from him because of it. I realize he's a stop gap/band aid fix right now, but it needs to be addressed sooner than later. The 3rd pairing is taking a beating too.

True, and they've picked it up as of late. Didn't start great.

Hunwick brutally Letang'd one at the blueline but got lucky the Ducks flubbed an easy breakaway. Not so much when Maata foolishly tries to shoot through a body right in front of him for another breakaway. Pens still [playing pretty hard but not getting a bounce or two and then losing focus.

No puck luck - Ducks really have the blueprint on beating the Pens - force turnovers, cherry pick, score.

So when they actually get a penalty they have to take us too. Probably not a bad thing though to take their best penalty killer off the ice tonight.

He's averaged over 17 minutes a game this season. I don't see why he'd get 9 minutes.

At the game, things can be summed up in two plays tonight. Letangs poor play on the PP and Hagelin missing an empty net.

Have to toss out Jarry's achilles heel of allowing goals in bunches. The kid needs to settle down and the D needs to help pick him up.
