Jets podcast: Interview with Ty Montgomery, Thoughts on Walt Michaels and Chris Herndon

Today we have a new podcast episode to present.

Joining the show as a guest is Ty Montgomery. Montgomery recently signed with the Jets as a free agent from Baltimore. He was traded to the Ravens during the 2018 season. Prior to that brief stint with the Ravens, he was a member of the Green Bay Packers.

Ty was doing some good work in the community late last week when I spoke with him. We discussed his work, how he is fitting in with the Jets, and more.

Before we get to Ty we discuss some of the big Jets news from last week. Sadly Walt Michaels passed away. He was part of the Super Bowl III coaching staff and later ascended to the top job. Many assessments including my own rank him as the Jets’ second greatest coach. We will also discuss Chris Herndon’s suspension. The tight end was suspended by the league four games.
