This nearly 2-year-old puppy uses a wheelchair to get around, but it's never stopped him from running, exploring and playing just like any other dog.
Ninja's foster mom, Alesha Duffield, says he was a normal dog until he had a sudden spinal stroke when he was around 6 months old that paralyzed the lower half of his body. He has no use of his back legs, and needs a little extra help when it comes to getting in and out of his wheelchair and going to the bathroom.
But despite his special needs, Duffield says Ninja is healthy in every other way. She and the nonprofit dog rescue Angels Left Behind are working to help Ninja find a new forever home.
